Proforce, a Nigerian defense contractor, has announced that it has received orders for its PF Hulk protected vehicle from both Mali and Nigeria at the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) 2025, which took place in Abu Dhabi from February 17 to 21. The PF Hulk, based on the Russian AMN-590951 ‘Spartak,’ is manufactured under license in Nigeria, reflecting advancements in local military production capabilities.
The PF Hulk is a 4×4 protected vehicle designed to accommodate ten personnel in a five-door layout. It has a gross vehicle weight of 14.5 tonnes and is equipped with a 6.65-liter YaMZ-536 six-cylinder engine that generates 360 horsepower. Its mine protection capabilities meet levels 2a and 2b as per STANAG 4569 standards, enhancing operational safety for personnel in the field.
Additionally, Proforce is offering an enhanced version of the Otokar Cobra, called the PF Viper. This upgrade incorporates an additional pair of doors for improved access and updates the cooling system to better suit the climatic conditions of Africa. The PF Viper has a total weight of seven tonnes and features a 3-liter V6 Hyundai engine, producing up to 250 horsepower.
